Development Plan Review Process

A development plan is in force for a period of 6 years. The process of reviewing the development plan must begin 4 years after the making of the last development plan.

The current Meath County Development Plan was adopted on 2nd March 2007, therefore the review process is now commencing.

The Development Plan process comprises of 3 stages i.e.
1) Pre-Draft
2) Draft Development Plan and
3) Amendments to Draft
as illustrated in the table below.
